"I want to learn to sew, but I want to do it my way."

There are various Sew Inn classes running throughout 2013. Most classes are four hours, and sewing workshops are held in the Tessuti Melbourne store. Some classes are taught by Suzie Fry and others by Vanessa Lucas. Each class has a maximum of five students.

IMPORTANT: Please note that due to limited spaces, all bookings are final and cancellations will result in forfeit of payment. Bookings are STRICTLY NOT transferable to other class dates. Please check dates before making your class bookings as there will be NO exceptions. 

Melbourne Classes: regular classes run for 4 hours* - 11am to 3pm (*specialist classes may run longer)

• Bring Your Own Project - where each person chooses their own project and what help they want.
  
• Using Japanese Patterns for beginners 
  
• Sewing with knits without an overlocker for beginners 
  
• Modification of a commercial pattern to fit your individual body shape (NB special preparation is required for this class - refer blog post referenced below)
• Modification of a commercial PANT pattern to fit your individual body shape (NB special preparation is required for this class - refer blog post referenced below)

Equipment List:

• Sewing Machine (Tessuti have sewing machines but you can bring your own if you wish)
• Scissors for cutting fabric
• Measuring tape
• Needles
• Pins
