Isabelle Kaftan Pattern by Nikki Dent (supplied in class)
Summer is upon us and the holidays are just around the corner. This is the time to add a kaftan or two to this seasons wardrobe. Fabric selection can change the garment from pool side lounging to cocktail party celebrations! Border print fabrics work very well with this pattern style.
Fully adjustable Eco Pattern, the Isabelle Kaftan come with FIVE design variations.
There are TWO sleeve and FOUR length options.
The hip measurement with the side shaping is 184cm (204cm without). A great way to learn finishing techniques for neck-lines and constructing and sewing bias binding.

2 x desired length of kaftan + 30cm
* For border print fabrics you will need 2.2m fabricNotions required:
Vilene (tear-away) if binding the neckline
Store bought bias binding - if required. (Handmade bias binding is another option)
Iron-on Interfacing if facing the neckline
