Organic & Eco Fabric

Increasingly popular as a sustainable choice, organic fabric is becoming the go-to choice for Australian dressmakers and designers in Australia and around the world. Requiring up to 90% less water and producing fewer CO2 emissions than standard cotton fabric, eco fabric is the go-to material of choice for enviro-conscious sewers. For organic cotton fabric to be classified as such, all pesticides, fertilisers and herbicides used in its production must also be organically certified and our eco viscose fabric is Forest Stewardship Council certified.

Organic cotton is every bit as breathable, luxurious and lightweight as 100% conventional cotton. As such, you can rely on it for a huge selection of sewing patterns - from sporty outfits or baby clothing and complex dress designs. Non-allergenic, sweat absorbent and able to withstand odours, this is a fabulous fabric to work with.
